CANCELLING APPOINTMENTS

Presently people can call and cancel their appointments. We normally request to give the practice an hour notice for the nurses appointment and 30mins for a GP appointment, otherwise the appointment will go down as a Did Not Attend (DNA).

Patients are also able to correspond with the surgery via text message, for example replying ‘CANCEL’ to an appointment reminder will mean that your appointment is cancelled without you needing to call the surgery.

The practice will be introducing new ways to cancel appointments in the coming months for the benefit of our patients and reduce the number of DNAs.
