HOME VISITS
The Practice adheres strictly to the local guidelines and provides a very limited home visiting service. These are intended for the chronically bed-bound and those receiving home nursing for terminal illnesses. They are not carried out for reasons of convenience or economy and it is not the Surgery’s responsibility to arrange suitable transport.
Patients feeling very ill will always be seen promptly after their arrival at the Surgery.
Requests for home visits should be made before 10.00 hours and following discussion with the Doctor you will be informed if this is appropriate or whether an alternative course of action should be followed, which may be simple advice upon self-care, collection of a prescription, attendance at the Surgery or direct referral to the Hospital.
